Preface

We have limited drinks we serve in the Tavern or, elsewhere in the Village for realism.  A village such as Arx Pagus would have limited supplies being in the wilderness and dependent on what it could produce.  Trips to Brundisium or Edgington would take weeks to travel to and from; thus, the village is only resupplied once or twice a year. 

Our drinking stock (prop drinks) are produced locally using the G&S Role Play products found in the RP area.  While the system is ingenious and adds to the role play experience, it is costly and slow to produce necessitating limits.

You Do the Math 

• 5 RL days to produce ONE bag/basket of grain, grapes, suls, honey,  Blackwine.
• 5 RL days more to create ONE cask of Sul Paga, Mead, ka-la-na 
• 5 RL days more for ka-la-na (wine) to age for Grand Reserve

We receive 2-12 servings per single final product, which is not much for the amount of labor and time to produce. Thus, prop drinks are limited for actual serving.

Tavern Sluts & Tavern Servers--Things You Should Know

• We do not have a Servery; we have a Kitchen.
• We do not have a Chilla, Chiller, or Cold Room.
• If someone requests a drink not on the "Available" list below, politely let them know what we do have available to serve.
• Unless it is Wintertime, we only have room temperature drinks.
• Anything chilled would be hung from a bucket inside the well in the Village, which is a considerable distance from the Tavern.
• If someone requests a drink served warmed or hot, serve as requested.
• Mead and Sul-Paga are stored in and served from casks sitting in the kitchen area.
• Ka-la-na is stored in and served from bottles kept in the storeroom off the kitchen area.
• Blackwine beans are stored in small sacks in the storeroom off the kitchen. 
• ALL drinks are served room temperature with the exception of Blackwine, which is served hot. 
• Limited quantity of drink props available to serve per day
• If the props run out, serve like you would without a prop.
• Prop drinks only available to Tavern Sluts & Servers.
• Must wear Arx Pagus Tavern Group tag to access the drink dispensers.
• Be polite, share service with other Tavern Sluts & Servers
• If a patron comes in with his or her slave, do not assume the slave will serve.  Always ask the patron if they wish you to serve them.
• Serve quickly, especially if there are numerous customers.  This may require you to alter your posting style to shorter posts.
• Free Men may be served showing "heat"
• Free Women are allowed in the Tavern. You are expected to serve them without "heat". 
• If both Free Men and Free Women in are in the Tavern at the same time, you may show some "heat" but be cautious and recognize the delicate sensibilities of the Free Women.
