OOC Village Laws

Arx Pagus OCC Village Law

In visiting and RPing in Arx Pagus, YOU are responsible for reading, understanding, and accepting the OOC and IC Rules and Laws of the role play area.  

All rules and laws are subject to change, without prior notice, according to situations/events encountered.

• First and foremost, RESPECT is required of one another when in the Village setting.  This really should be a given anywhere OOC or IC. 
• No Raids--we are a small RP village and do not have the warrior power to defend ourselves fairly. 
• We are not a "perma death" sim. Is no reason someone should die in Arx Pagus unless they wish to kill off their character.   
• However, hideous crimes, such as murder of a Free person, rape of a Free Woman or, slaves found striking a Free with a weapon will constitute permanent death of that character and no longer be allowed to play that role in Arx Pagus
• No Force Collars 
• Keep things IC in public chat. Use IMs for OOC private chats. 
• Keep things Gorean character while in the role play area. 
• Try to keep an open mind what  constitutes "By The Book" (BTB) since the books are contradictory.
• We operate by OUR interpretation of the book material. 
• If there is something you think is not BTB, please contact the Administrator with your reasoning and supporting evidence.
• The Administrator will have final say what is or is not BTB in Arx Pagus.  Please respect our decisions.
• Be open to newcomers, visitors, and those new to Gor and try to RP with each other.  
• Help one another when possible.
• God Modding and Metagaming are not allowed. 
• Post your Role Play limits in your SL Profile. 
• Do not use OOC SL Profiles, Group tags, or other OOC information in IC RP.  

[G&S] Farm Produce

• Is strictly for use by Arx Pagus villagers. 
• Resources are scares so please RP trade amongst yourself.
• One RP resource role per family.  
• Anyone caught selling/trading Arx Pagus produce for coin or Lindens outside Arx Pagus village, without permission, will be ejected and banned immediately. 
• If your want to establish trade with other Gor RP sims, trading status between the two sims MUST be approved by the RP Administrator-Cerridwen Magic
