Village Roles

Arx Pagus Village Permanent Roles

We do have some permanent RP roles for those interested in being a member Arx Pagus Village.  If you are interested in being a Villager, please contact Cerridwen Magic In-World.

Villager Note

Being a member of the village and assuming one of these roles, requires you to swear to the Homestone and take an active role in role playing with anyone that comes to the village.  

What this means is you want to be here, you can't stay in your home and just RP with your Free Companion, kajirae, other villagers, or people you know and are comfortable with.  You must be an active part of the village, its' affairs, role play with other villagers or guests, and do a bit of recruitment.  It also requires participating in the G&S role play experience.

General Note 

We are a village in the middle of the Gorean wilderness.  The roles available in the village are low caste positions.  No one here has a lot of money, most have shady pasts who live here in secret.  Free and kajirae alike would not be well dressed.  Even the role of  Scribe and Healer requires you to be of a lower position in those castes and have little to no money.  Most of what is done is by barter rather than silver and gold tarsks.  

Tavern Note 

Kajirae--Tavern Serving Roles are reserved for those who spend time here and put forth the effort to be here to serve. You must be approved to serve and given one of the two tags available.  Only approved Tavern Girls, with tags, are able to serve and/or prepare the actual G&S produce, such as food or various drinks available.

We have no issues with personal slaves coming and serving their personal Owners while in the tavern. 

We have encountered a number situations in other sims of visiting slaves or city kennel slaves just walking into a tavern and begin serving.  It is rude and disrespectful to those, who have committed their time to serving as a Tavern Slave.

We do not allow visiting slaves or, Village slaves to serve in Arx Pagus Tavern unless they are serving their owners. 

If you want to serve in the tavern, you must be a resident of the Village and petition for it.  If you are owned, you must have the permission of your owner and he  or she must petition on your behalf to be allowed serve in the Tavern.

You wouldn't just walk into a restaurant in RL and begin serving unless you are employed there...the same applies to Arx Pagus.

Arx Pagus Tavern Roles 

Tavern Master--Oversees the running of the tavern and the village.  Also enforces Village Law and oversees justice when needed.

Assistant Tavern Master(s)--Assists in the running of the tavern and oversees it when the Tavern Master is absent.

Tavern First Girl--This role oversees the running of the tavern and the village in the absence of the Tavern or Assistant Tavern Master. 
Cerridwen Magic

Tavern Slut--Red Silk unrestricted kajirae, who serve food, drinks, dance, and are willing to serve in the furs to patrons of the tavern. This is an adult role only, requires past role play experience, ability to provide services as a pleasure slave in the alcoves. Ability to get along with other girls.  Prefer prior tavern experience.

Tavern Server--White Silk or, Red Silk Restricted, who serve food, drinks, dance in the tavern do not serve in the furs. (Please respect these limits). This is an adult role, requires some past role play experience, ability to get along with other girls.  Prefer prior tavern or serving experience.

 Arx Pagus Village Roles 

Village Scribe--Experienced Gorean role player, who have prior scribe experience.  They will process/create slave papers when needed, act as Arx Pagus Magistrate according to Gorean and Village Laws.

Village Scribe Slave--Experienced Gorean role player, who have prior scribe experience.  They will process/create slave papers and do other scribe tasks as/when needed.  Accountable to either the Village Scribe and/or Tavern Master (Tavern First Girl).

Village Healer--Experienced Gorean role player, who has prior healing experience. They will create slave exams, keep health records, provide healing duties, keep up the general health of the Village.

Village Healing Slave--Experienced Gorean role player, who has prior healing experience. They will assist Village Healer (if we have one) in slave exams, keeping health records, provide healing duties, keep up the general health of the Village.   Accountable to either the Village Healer and/or Tavern Master (Tavern First Girl)

Village First Girl--Experienced role player, ability to get along with others VERY well, have prior experience training kajirae in the ways of Gor when needed. Accountable to either the Tavern First Girl and/or Tavern Master.

Village Seamstress/Dressmaker--Making Free Women dresses and clothing to trade/sell in the village.

Village Tailor--Makes Free Men's clothing to trade/sell in the village.

Village Leatherworker/Tanner--Tans and creates leather items for sale or trade.

Village Warriors/Guards--We are not really a combat or raid RP area, but a Village would need those, who can protect the villagers.

Village Banker/Money Lender--Currently is not a G&S role; however, it could change into one.  Would help to oversee the economic and market in the village.

Village Representative--This particular role is one where the representative (village ambassador) would be sent to various other G&S Gorean role play sims to establish possible inter-sim RP via trade relations.

Other Roles--These are just a few of the roles possible.  There are many others that can be added or created when/as the need or player(s) arise.

G&S Village Roles

The following Village roles require participation in G&S economy of trading for items in order to prosper and wearing a G&S Role Play HUD.

[G&S] Farm Produce

• Is strictly for use  Arx Pagus villagers. 
• Resources are scares so please trade amongst yourself.
• Anyone caught selling/trading Arx Pagus produce for coin or Lindens outside Arx Pagus village without permission will be ejected and banned immediately.

Cheesemaker--Uses verr and bosk milk purchased/traded from the dairyman to make cheese to trade/sell/consume.

Weaver--Uses verr wool thread purchased/traded from the spinner to make rugs and tapestries to trade/sell.

Rug/Tapestry Merchant--Buys/trades rugs and tapestries from the weaver to trade/sell in the Village or other markets.

Spinner--Spins the verr wool bought/traded with the verr herders into thread

Baker--Creates bread and other bakery items to sell/trade/barter with the Villagers and possibly the Inn.  Items are purchased from the various farmers.

Other G&S Roles--There may be additional roles possible with the G&S System that have not currently been thought of. The creator of the system continually puts out new products from time to time, which will be added to the RP area.
